Can a French Lop be kept by a beginner?

Hi guys, I'm a beginner, and when I first saw French lop rabbits, I was very interested. What do you think about me keeping one?

Sorry, I don't recommend keeping French lop rabbits as a beginner. This is because these rabbits are pretty large, and there are many things you need to prepare. Plus, this rabbit with long ears also requires higher maintenance. Therefore, this rabbit breed is not recommended for beginners.

You can also try keeping other rabbit breeds, such as Himalayan, Dutch, and Dwarf Lop. These three are suitable for beginners.

The French Lop Rabbit is a crossbreed of the English Lop and French Butterfly rabbits. In the 1850s, this rabbit with long ears was first bred in France to be used for meat. This cat is included in a large-sized rabbit weighing up to 15 lbs. Generally, these rabbits like to eat vegetables and roots, but some eat pellets.
